We build for the sound a room makes when you walk in.

Wedding gowns, aso oke and reception looks, cut to your measurements in our Lagos atelier. We measure you over video, fit you over video, and deliver to your door. You never get on a plane.

Made in Lagos for brides in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.

The whole commission runs on video, first call to final approval

You are in the room for every decision that matters, from another continent.

We measure you ourselves rather than emailing you a form. You approve the lace and the beading before anything is cut. You watch each fitting live while the pattern is adjusted in front of you. You see the finished gown on a form set to your measurements before the balance is due.

Ten years of this. Brides living abroad are now most of our work.

Where our brides are

You left. Your wedding does not have to feel like it.

United States

Most US commissions are a white gown, a traditional look and aso ebi going to several addresses. We coordinate all of it inside one order so the colours match across states.

Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Maryland and DC, Chicago, Charlotte, Los Angeles

Canada

For winter weddings we change the fabric weight, the lining and the sleeve coverage, and build the warmth in underneath where it does not show.

Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Vancouver

United Kingdom

Two ceremonies, often two countries, usually two months apart. We plan both looks in one commission so the colours and beading relate to each other.

London, Manchester, Birmingham, Essex, Luton, Leeds

Ireland

Same process and the same shipping route as the UK.

Dublin, Cork, Galway

Australia and New Zealand

The longest route we ship, so we start earlier and build more buffer into the schedule.

Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland

Everywhere else

Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, the UAE. If your city is not listed, ask and we will quote it.

Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Dubai, Doha

How it works

Five steps, and you can walk away after two having spent nothing

  1. One

    We meet, and you talk

A video call in your evening, our night. Bring your date, your venue and your saved photos. We tell you what suits your body, what your budget buys, and how many looks you actually need.

  2. Two

You see it before it exists

A hand sketch, the fabric direction and one honest number covering every look. Free. If it is not what you pictured, you say so, and you owe us nothing for having asked.

  3. Three

You say yes, and it becomes real

70 percent, your slot goes into the calendar, and the cloth is bought that week. From the day you sign off the design it is four to eight weeks of work.

  4. Four

You are in the room the whole time

We measure you on camera. You see the lace before the scissors touch it. You try each fitting on video while the pattern is changed in front of you.

  5. Five

You see it finished before you finish paying

The completed gown, on camera, on a form set to your measurements. Only then does the last 30 percent move. Then it is boxed and it comes to you.

Fit

Five ways we get the fit right without you in the room

  • We measure you ourselves, on video. Not a form emailed to you. Our team walks you and one helper through it live, and keeps the signed record.
  • Or your own tailor does it. Take our sheet to anyone you trust near you.
  • A toile before we cut. Where there is time, the test garment takes the risk so your fabric never has to. No extra cost.
  • Corset backs and seam allowance. Built in wherever the design permits, so the dress still fits if your body changes between now and the date.
  • An alteration allowance. If it needs a final touch where you live, it is already on your quote.
Timing

Everything else can be fixed with money. Time cannot.

Four to eight weeks in the atelier, then shipping. Count backwards from your date.

Time to your dateWhat you can haveWhat it costs you
6 months or moreAll of it. Gown, traditional, second look, family aso ebiNothing. This is the calm version.
3 to 5 monthsGown and one traditional lookNothing. Most brides sit here.
2 to 3 monthsGown, one or two looksYou decide the fabric on the first call, not the third.
Under 6 weeksDepends on the calendar that weekFewer fittings, express shipping, no rush fee. If it cannot be done well, we will say so rather than take your money.

Getting it to you

It reaches you two weeks before you need it, tracked the whole way

  • The schedule is built backwards from two weeks early, not from the wedding day itself.
  • You know where it is, every day. Tracked from the hour it leaves us.
  • Insured for the full commission value. We declare what it is actually worth rather than shaving your customs bill and leaving you with no cover.
  • Duty is yours, paperwork is ours. Your country charges it, you settle it on arrival, our courier clears it.
  • The written terms. Our shipping policy and refund and returns policy.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Bojamiley ship wedding dresses to the United States?
Yes. Bojamiley makes every piece in its Lagos atelier and ships to brides in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, tracked and insured. Delivery to the US typically takes 7 to 10 working days by air.
How long does a bespoke Nigerian wedding dress take?
Four to eight weeks from the day you sign off your design, plus transit. Two months of atelier time is better than one, because the extra weeks allow a toile and a third fitting.
How do fittings work if I live abroad?
You book a video consultation, take your measurements with our guided protocol, and try each fitting on camera while our team adjusts the pattern. Every international commission includes an alteration allowance, confirmed on your quote.
Will I pay import duty in the US?
Yes. US import duty now applies to shipments of any value. It is paid on arrival unless your quote says it is included, and our courier handles the customs paperwork.
What about duty in the UK, Canada or Australia?
The same applies. Each country charges its own import duty and sales tax, VAT in the UK and Ireland, GST or HST in Canada and Australia, settled by the receiver on arrival.
What does a bespoke wedding dress from Bojamiley cost?
Bespoke bridal commissions run from ₦800,000 to ₦5,000,000, fabric included, with accessories priced separately. Your quote is confirmed after the consultation.
Can you make aso oke and traditional attire as well as a white gown?
Yes. Bojamiley makes the full sequence: white gown, aso oke and Yoruba traditional attire with gele and ipele, court wedding dresses and reception looks, all from the same atelier.
How does payment work, and do I pay anything to talk to you?
The consultation, the sketch and the quote cost nothing. Work begins on a 70 percent deposit, and the remaining 30 percent is due before dispatch, after you have seen video of the finished gown.
How do I know this is safe?
We work from a physical atelier at No 13 Victoria Street, Ojota, Lagos, and have done for over ten years. Every commission is covered by a signed agreement. You pay nothing to get a sketch and a price, and you pay the final 30 percent only after you have seen the finished gown on video.
Can I come to Lagos for a fitting instead?
Many brides do, usually alongside a trip home. Give us your travel dates at the consultation and we will build the fittings around them.
Can you dress my bridesmaids and family in different countries?
Yes. We cut aso ebi and bridal party looks from the same fabric batch and ship them to each address separately, or all together to one.
What happens if my wedding date moves?
Tell us early. Where the calendar allows we move your slot rather than cancel it. The terms are in your agreement.

Send us your date.

Tell us your date, your city and what you have in mind. You get a sketch, a price and a timeline before you have spent anything.
